Mission briefing

Land. Dig in. Get rich.

Slimezone is a mix of real-time strategy and tower defence, with a splash of RPG. Explore unknown planets, exploit their resources and defend your supply lines against the natives: the slimes. Along the way, upgrade your technology to go after bigger prizes on harder planets.

Weapons, research and items add up to thousands of combinations to experiment with.

  1. Build

    Set up base

Mine mineral, pump oil for power and put up factories, research labs and defences. Research new guns and armour, then roll your own designs off the line.

  2. Take the gold

    Raid the pools

The gold lies around ooze pools, and the slimes that live there want it back. Scout it, win it, mine it, and get ready for the waves that come for it.

  3. Cash out

    Launch & upgrade

Sell your haul in orbit, finish your objectives for bonuses, then spend it between missions on new tech and HQ upgrades that carry into every mission after.

Small armies. Big decisions.

Unit designer

Every tank is yours

Pick a hull, put weapons on its turret mounts and choose what it drives on. Wheels are cheap, tracks are tough, hover craft cross water and six-legged walkers climb cliffs. Heavy guns slow you down, so every design is a trade-off.

Blueprint · Warden Example
Hull
Warden: medium hull, two turret mounts
Mount 1
Medium, turns all the way · Field Cannon 75 mm
Mount 2
Light hull gun, 120° to the front · Machine Gun 7.62 mm
Drivetrain
Tracks: slower than wheels, 60% more health

Armour-piercing rounds

The slime fights back

Seven kinds of alien creature guard the gold. Beat a pool badly enough and a Slime Worm escapes to start a new one. Rely on flamers too much and the slimes grow shields against fire.

Hoard gold and the waves come for it. Every slime you kill, and every power plant and factory you build, makes them angrier.

Planets

No two worlds alike

Every planet has a biome, a trait and its own hazards. Type in a planet's name and you always get the same world.

Campaign

A war that remembers

Missions feed a campaign that lasts. Money and tech carry over between missions. Planets remember how much gold you've mined from them, and rivals you've beaten stay beaten. Take items from enemy tanks, store them in your vault and fit them to tanks in later missions.

Rivals

Commanders who play fair

Rival commanders follow the same rules you do. They build bases, research, raise armies and go after the same gold. On some planets there are two of them, and they fight each other as well as you.

Made for phones

Strategy that fits a phone

Touch controls built for a phone screen, armies small enough to follow and missions you can save and pick up later. No internet connection needed.

Xenobiology

Field guide to the locals

They look friendly. They are not friendly. Each gold site has its own colour of slime, and every colour fights differently. Bring the right guns.

A glossy green slime with big round eyes and a gold crystal, on dark rocky ground under a ringed planet.

Field note: burn too many slimes and the Shell and Spitter Gloops learn to raise shields against fire. Bring more than one kind of weapon.

Threat assessment

You're not the only one after the gold

Every gold field you leave unguarded is one a rival can take. Hold the pools, protect your miners and get your haul off the planet before someone else does.
